We wanted to let you know that the price of our products will be changing soon. In line with our recent website update, we will also be increasing our prices on 2nd April 2026 AEDT.
From 2nd April 2026, the base cost of the Nexus DSC Pro will increase to US$399.95, the Nexus DSC Pro with WiFi will increase to US$439.95, the base cost of the Nexus-II to US$229.95, and all other products will each increase by 10%. The price of the Nexus eFinder will stay the same.
Why now?
Despite our best efforts to keep prices low for so many years (in fact, our digital setting circles and most encoder kits have stayed at their introductory prices, some for well over a decade), changing economic conditions, high inflation, and rising production costs have made this adjustment unavoidable.
This increase means that we’ll be able to continue creating cutting-edge technology & devices for amateur astronomers without compromising on the high quality that Astro Devices is known for.
If you’ve been considering buying a DSC or an encoder kit, now will be a great time to do so before the price change comes into effect. Place your orders by 1st April 2026 11:59pm AEDT to take advantage of the lower price.
As always, thank you for your continued support over the years. If you have any questions, you can contact us or leave a comment below.
Regards,
Serge
