US Digital S6 Optical Encoder

Overview

When purchasing digital setting circles for your telescope, you’ll also need to have encoders installed on your scope – without these, your DSC has no way of interfacing with your telescope. The encoders are attached to your telescope’s axes and send signals to your DSC, letting it determine the position of your telescope. You will need two encoders.

The US Digital S6 encoders are able to be attached to both Dobsonians and Alt-Az mounts, and you have the choice of two resolutions: 10,000 or 40,000 steps.
